Canwick Park is a friendly and vibrant club, offering members both friendly and competition golf. The club also has an excellent social scene, with new members warmly welcomed into the fold. From the coming season, we will also be offering ‘Community Rates’ for those unable to afford traditional membership. Please see below for details.

‘125’ Anniversary Membership

To celebrate our 125th Anniversary, Canwick Park Golf Club would like to offer a special once in a lifetime membership deal, exclusively available to new members;
Join our club now for just £400 and begin playing immediately though the 2018/19 season. This means you have nothing more to pay until April 2019!

Club Membership Fees 2018/19 (Effective 1st April 2018 until 31st March 2019)

  • Full membership: £750 (includes £25 bar credit)
  • Full membership Seniors 75 and over with 10 years previous membership £590
  • Young employed 19-22 at time of joining in full/part time employment: £285
  • Young employed 23-25 at time of joining in full/part time employment: £400
  • Young employed 26-30 at time of joining in full/part time employment: £465
  • Junior (16 and under): £80
  • Junior (18 and under): £100
  • Junior (16 and under): with parent/guardian member: £45
  • Full-time student* (19-22): £200
  • Social membership: £35
  • Weekday 5 Day membership: £675


Community Membership Rates

Canwick Park Golf Club would like to welcome without discrimination all members of the community, we are now offering a community membership for those on low or modest incomes for many of our membership categories.

This membership is available to any persons who are reasonably able to demonstrate that they are unable to afford the standard membership rates. Documentation must be provided to show receivership of one of the following benefits:


Job Seekers Allowance

Income Support

Universal Credit

Employment Support Allowance

Working Tax Credit

Housing Benefit


Proof of low income is also welcomed; documentation of such will be subject to independent verification before approval is granted. The club assures all existing or prospective members that discretion will be given throughout the application process. This category enjoys equal privileges to the standard categories and is open to both new & existing members.

  • Full membership: £475

Should any person joining as a community member not have the golf equipment to play, the club will make available golf clubs on loan free of charge. Union fees are included in community subscription costs.

3-Month Trial Membership

We are now offering our 3-month trial membership on an ongoing basis. This scheme is open to new members for £120 and includes a lesson with PGA Professional Steve Williamson at the club. This membership gives you full access to the course (excluding club competitions) and if after the period you decide to convert to full membership, you will only be charged the pro-rata rate (you will be charged only for the remaining months of the playing season).

An 8% surcharge applies for payment by direct debit. A 2% surcharge applies for payments by credit card. No surcharge applied to payment by debit card.

*A valid student card must be presented to take advantage of this deal.

Each member is entitled to one vote at the AGM and any EGMs.

Important notice regarding direct debit payment:
Payment by direct debit is not a monthly membership scheme and is regulated by a formal consumer credit agreement. Members cancelling their direct debit mandates prior to the end of a membership year remain liable for payment of the outstanding amount of the annual fee in full.  In the event of a direct debit mandate being cancelled prior to the end of a membership year, formal action can be taken to recover the unpaid element of the annual membership fee.  Canwick park golf club reserves the right to refuse payment of annual membership fees by direct debit mandate. The decision by the board of directors is final.

Golfguard Member Insurance

As you may be aware, Canwick Park has this year taken advantage of Golfguard Insurance cover for its members. In summary, this provides:


Unlimited concerning bodily injury in respect to UK Road Traffic Act arising from the use of buggies whilst playing on a recognised course.

Up to £5,000,000 in respect of legal liability for bodily injury caused to a third party while playing golf.


Up to £10,000 towards third party property.


Up to £15,000 in respect of Death, Loss of Limbs / Eyes or Permanent Total Disablement


Up to £1,000 following an accident that stops the insured from playing for more than 60 consecutive days.


Reimbursement of bar bill on day of achievement during an official club competition up to £75.

This will be applied to the Club Championship & Southcliffe Cup.
