We are a friendly and active section of Canwick Park Golf Club, with around 60 lady members.
Ladies’ Competition Day is Thursday (meeting from 0900) where competitors may enter the many Monthly Medal and Stableford Competitions we have arranged. In addition (and to encourage maximum participation), Ladies are able to enter the competitions on a Sat morning with a tee-time at 1100 and some ladies prefer an earlier start, at around 0800.
In addition, Ladies also meet for a social game of 10 or 18 holes on a Tuesday, from 0930.
Competitions are held throughout the year and these include Monthly Medals, Stablefords, Texas Scrambles, Greensomes and many others, often in conjunction with the other sections of the club.
A strong and competitive league team is currently in the Lincolnshire League Division 3 South and we also have a number of friendly matches each year. Additionally, the club arranges a number of mixed matches throughout the golfing calendar for all levels of golfer.
Away from the course, the ladies meet regularly for informal social occasions and Presentation Evenings.
All ladies, with or without a handicap, are very welcome to join us. Ladies wishing to gain a handicap are also welcome, with members often on hand to mark cards, if requested.
Catering for all levels of golfer and with an active and growing Ladies’ section, you can be assured of a warm welcome here at Canwick Park Golf Club.
