Today Captain Tony Thornley & Lady Captain Chris Dixon presented a cheque for £1500 to the St Francis School Fund. The monies raised during the year in support of the Captains’ Charity for 2011 were a result of events and raffles held at the club in 2011, and supported by members.
The Senior’s AGM was held at the club yesterday (14th December 2011). The Senior section continues to grow at the club, and hopes to have another good year in 2012. 2011 Seniors Captain Mr Stewart McCracken passed the baton to Mr Geoff Brown for 2012, with Mr Bob Taylor becoming Vice-Captain. George Wilkinson will hold the final training session of 2011 this weekend; This will be a 1 hour session on Saturday the 3rd December, starting at 10am. Training dates for 2012 will be posted at a later date, please keep watching!
