With the final match at Louth on Wednesday, 28th Sept., the Seniors’ 2011 season came to a close.  It was a very successful and well supported season and Captain Stewart McCracken (ably supported by Vice-Captain Geoff Brown) should be congratulated on achieving the final result of 34 matches played, 18 won, 2 halved and 14 lost.  [...]

Congratulations to Trevor Robinson, the 2011 Winner of the Great Britain & Ireland Hall of Fame Seniors Golf Championship, held over the weekend in Liverpool. 39 Members of the Senior section enjoyed a fine day out at  Newark Golf Club on Monday Aug 22nd. Fine in every respect, the weather was perfect, the golf excellent, the  hosts really looked after us and the steak pie was memorable. The winner on the day was club President Peter Musson with a creditable 39 points [...]

Monday 20th June saw the annual Ladies vs Seniors clash take place at the club. Held on a fantastic day weather wise, the match was a closely fought affair right the way through. In the end, the Seniors used their greater wealth of experience and know-how to see out the Ladies with a 3-2 victory.
